Grandma and Grandpa Wilcox

Last week we had the opportunity to visit with R's father K and his wife E. It was nice to see them, since we don't get to see them very often. The last time we were able to see them in person was when R and I were engaged, more than 5 years ago. They had yet to meet the kids so it was a great opportunity for A and G to finally meet Grandma and Grandpa Wilcox.

After some pictures, K and E took us out to dinner to Cracker Barrel. Going out for dinner doesn't happen often in our home, so it was WONDERFUL! Grandma E let A pick out some toys for herself and G while they were paying for the food. I think that was the moment that A decided that Grandma E was cool. A purse, camera, flash light, radio, princess crown, toy car, and some candy later, we left to go back home.

We visited with K and E for a few more hours and got some more pictures.

It was so nice for me to be able to get to know them a bit better. They live in South Carolina so they don't get out here very often. They have some property in north eastern AZ that they are planning on moving to when they retire. So hopefully in the next few years we will get to see them a bit more.
